"Working with InfoGeographics has been highly rewarding. Staff members are very knowledgeable and personable. They work hard to help users work through problems by quickly answering questions [...] Over the last year IGI has helped Jackson County develop its Enterprise GIS system. They have helped us design our property geodatabase, implement ArcIMS and implement ArcSDE all with great success.

"IGI support is always exceptional. The staff is quick to respond to questions and issues. "

- Steven Timbrook, Jackson County Michigan

"Alpena Power Company decided in 2002 that it was going to proceed with a project to convert all of its manually drawn system maps(350+ maps) to a computerized mapping system. After reviewing all of the various mapping software products available on the market at that time, we narrowed our search down to two vendors, ESRI and another product. When we contacted the ESRI, they immediately contacted their closest business partner covering our area of the state of Michigan, Infogeographics, Inc., and they had them contact us by phone within 24 hours of talking to the ESRI people. We were impressed by the fast response.

[...] Infogeographics wasted no time in setting up a date for him to come to Alpena and give us a demonstration of the ESRI software [....] During that visit, we were able to sit and talk about what we wanted to accomplish with our mapping conversion project, both immediately and down the road as far as future links to enable us to tie it into other software systems(work orders, outage management, etc.). [...] The personal and professional attention that our proposed project received from (InfoGeographics) was impressive and set a very positive tone for us to consider hiring his company.

Once we made the decision to hire Infogeographics, (IGI Staff), demonstrated a lot of patience with me on the project because I did not have a lot of computer expertise and that was one of my worries going into the project. (IGI Staff) has a vast working knowledge of the ESRI utility mapping software yet he was able to work with us down at our level and make it understandable for those of us at APC that were involved and eventually trained on how to use the software.

We have been using the final product of our mapping project now for several months and everything has been working as advertised and planned. (IGI Staff) remain available for questions on a moments notice by virtue of a phone call or e-mail message. I wouldn't hesitate to make the same choice of companies again going into another project of a similar nature.

"[...] GeoConnector along with the (Equalizer Assessing Module) has provided us with a simplified and automated solution for providing pre-joined Equalizer data to our GIS users. We were able to replace three separate steps used to provide data to our ArcView users: AMLs to convert coverage data to shape files, generic exports to extract data from Equalizer, and MS Access macros to rename Equalizer field names to more user-friendly aliases. The ArcView user then had to incorporate run-time joins in the project, which could be time consuming during startup of more complex projects. GeoConnector provides unattended, scheduled assembly of geo and tabular data producing user friendly and ready to use shape files. In addition to producing pre-packaged shape files, we use the GeoConnector to extract data from Equalizer, rename fields with aliases, and create dbf files which, through ODBC, provides access to current Equalizer data for ArcInfo users as well. We have found the GeoConnector to be both stable and reliable with no intervention required after the initial setup. "

"GeoConnector is a valuable resource to assist in managing attribute data on a timely, orderly basis where less user intervention is required to keep attribute data current. IGI support is very responsive and the ability to speak with the programmer who writes the software usually allows the user to identify the solution to a problem immediately. The ability to troubleshoot and resolve a challenge with the software when integrating our County's data in minutes rather than waiting for a "representative to contact you at their convenience" is a major plus."
