GeoConnector Modules

GeoConnector Modules add additional functionality & data types to GeoC's already powerful feature set. Modules are developed to address specific challenges, such as publishing to enterprise geospatial databases, accessing non-conforming data structures, or to simplify the execution of otherwise difficult or tedious tasks. It is important to note that GeoC modules work in conjunction with the GeoConnector base product, and are not stand-alone applications. If you have a need to connect to a data type not currently supported in GeoConnector, be sure to let us know about it by submitting an Enhancement Request. The following are the current modules:

ArcSDE Module

GeoConnector ArcSDE Module allows GeoC-built output to be published and integrated directly into ESRI Enterprise Geodatabase format as stored with ArcSDE software. This augments the standard version of GeoC, which publishes to Personal (.mdb) and File Geodatabase formats, and can extract from any geodatabase format including ArcSDE. Opening up GeoConnector's powerful data extraction, join, and scheduling capabilities to the enterprise can facilitate operations and management of data at larger GIS installations.

In particular, these enterprise functions can serve as a basis to pass data between organizations for automated data delivery of a specific nature. This could be between departments or among participating government bodies to enable data movement in support of State or NSDI initiatives, in essence enabling the Data Chain that will be necessary to truly build a national network of linked data producing and disseminating agencies.

Equalizer Assessing Module

GeoConnector Equalizer Assessing Module offers an unprecedented level of access to data stored in BS&A's Equalizer Assessing System {Windows/Pervasive Software version} for incorporation into your geographic data sets. InfoGeographics worked closely with BS&A to develop a product that could grow and change with your Equalizer Assessing System installation with little or no user intervention.

  • Use the data stored in your Equalizer Assessing System as a Tabular Data Source in GeoC!
  • Connect directly to your Assessing database! No export from Equalizer required, though you can also connect to reporting spreadsheets and other digital output from Equalizer!
  • Instant access to *all* of your Equalizer Assessing System data... Assessing data, Sales, Buildings, Permits, etc...
  • GeoConnector Equalizer Assessing Module resolves all of Equalizers Btrieve and binary look-ups, providing you with useful information, instead of the "pointers" returned by ODBC!
  • Automatically alias complex Equalizer field names with more meaningful & end-user friendly field names of your choosing. Use GeoConnector's flexible scheduling functionality to automatically update property shapefiles and tables with data fresh from Equalizer!
