InfoGeographics, Inc. is an ESRI Authorized Business Partner, Value Added Reseller, in the Authorized Instructor Program, and develops extensively with their software systems. IGI was awarded a New Business Partner of the Year for 2003 from ESRI. InfoGeographics, Inc. has strong ties with Business Partners and Professional GIS Organizations. IGI staff have contributed to the GIS profession in many ways having presented at international, regional, and state conferences, served on the Board of Directors and in Executive positions for the Michigan GIS professional association IMAGIN (as President, Vice President, Treasurer, Editor), and even represented the State of Michigan at a Federal Geographic Data Committee (FGDC) Stakeholder Meeting.
