Delivering current and accurate data for applications and enterprise use extends the utility of any information store. Combining, aggregating, integrating, viewing, and analyzing data from different sources facilitates more widespread use of data and is the primary reason GIS is so useful to so many organizations. The geography, or location, becomes the bond that provides a common, visual context.
IGI staff have developed expert capabilities to efficiently process and move data in many different forms and formats. We are versed in methods such as SQL, stored procedures, RDBMS tools, and ESRI's ModelBuilder, to name a few. Implementing these methods can range from simple scripting to advanced application code. In fact, IGI's flagship geospatial data publishing software product, GeoConnector, was developed out of this practice to fill a widespread client need for a easy to use, comprehensive tool to facilitate these processes.
